Fimatec’s calcium carbonate products, “FMT,” is an ultra-fine particle pigment for coating that is ground underwater by a highly efficient pulverizing machine developed by Fimatec. We carefully select high-quality, high-whiteness, and easily-crushable raw ore, and by using our unique grinding technologies that we have accumulated over time, we maintain a stable and high-quality product.
Our “FMT” products maintain high whiteness and have excellent fluidity with a high share. Coating for coated paper with a high content of FTM enables high-speed coating at high concentrations, making it possible to produce high-whiteness, high-gloss coated paper. The slurry also makes handling easier, and it contributes to reducing the amount of binders and drying costs due to high-concentration coating.

| FMT-65 | A grade with 65% of particles having a particle size of 2 μm or less, suitable for matte coated paper, dull coated paper, and double coats for undercoating. |

| FMT-90 | A general-purpose grade with 90% of particles having a particle size of 2 μm or less, ideal for high-grade art paper and high-quality coated paper, as well as lightweight and ultra-lightweight coated papers. |
| FMT-97 | A fine particle grade with 97% of particles having a particle size of 2 μm or less, which gives a high gloss to coated paper and has high whiteness and excellent fluidity. |
| FMT-100 | An ultra-fine grade with 100% of particles having a particle size of 2 μm or less, which gives a higher gloss to coated paper compared to the 97%-grade. |
| FMT-OP | An ultra-fine grade with 98% or more particles having a particle size of 2 μm or less. Has an overall sharp particle distribution because the distribution of the particles is controlled. It gives high gloss and opacity to coated paper. |
